The real self!

This poetry came up when my friend and me were talking about a person... The professional and the person inside... Do they reflect the same

The softer and tougher sides of a person..... addressed as masculine and feminine!

Strike a balance cried the guy within
Will that mean "Crush innocence", the feminine retorted,
Probably,Climbing up the ladder and maturity meant that,
Leading a calculated life each second of your life?
Cautious and alert for the rest of your years
Not minding the pitfalls, the aspirations
No time for the real self!

The feminine sighed,What has world become
Everyone runs through life
Chasing every dream possible
Trying to hit every known target
Losing of the joyful self
Toeing to catch up the unseen...

The thought process fell...
What is the definition of the real self?
Does your life provide time to define your own?
After highs and lows the consensus came..
Life just meant running ....
Nothing else implied in the long run

Men are hardening , to a stone , probably ,
Not to take the shape of a diamond
But to search the so called wholesome ....

[Aside]
The femimine dropped here ...
Would that mean crushing your real self
Beautifully pampered and brought in the self
Those qualities that people specifically adopted from each person they saw
those wonderful notations of a nice person that they built....
All to the bin or just for showcase....
What has world gone into ....
A destination with no label
A journey nothing to be proud of...

The man decided practically...
Maintain both sides and context switch ma!!!!
